Rajasthan CM visits Kollur temple

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today offered prayers at the famous Sri Mookambika temple at Kollur in Udupi district.

Temple managing trustee Harish Shetty welcomed her on arrival.

She had come from Bengaluru by helicopter to Areshirur helipad near Kollur.

Tight security was in place for Raje's visit, police said.

Entry to the temple was off limits for the general public from 10 am to 3 pm, sources said.

Udupi district BJP president Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, BJP leader Sukumar Shetty and members of the managing committee of the temple were present during the visit.
