The News Broadcasters Association today announced appointment of office bearers for the year 2014-15 with India TV's Rajat Sharma as the President and Ashok Venkatramani of ABP News as the Vice President.
A statement from the Association, which represents private television news and current affairs broadcasters, said Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of India TV has been appointed as the President.
Venkatramani, CEO of ABP News has been appointed as Vice-President and Chairperson-cum-Managing Director of News 24 Broadcast India Anurradha Prasad has been appointed as Honorary Treasurer.
The other members of the NBA Board are K V L Narayan Rao, Executive Vice Chairpeson NDTV Group, Ashish Bagga, Director T V Today Network, M K Anand, Managing Director and CEO Times Global Broadcasting Company, Jagi Mangat Panda, Director Odisha Television Ltd and M V Shreyams Kumar, whole-time Director of Mathrubhumi Printing and Publishing Co.
