Ramkumar bows out of Binghamton Challenger

Struggling to cope with windy conditions, Indian youngster Ramkumar Ramanathan suffered a semifinal defeat at the hands of American Mitchell Krueger in the ATP Challenger tournament, here.

The 21-year-old Indian lost 2-6 4-6 in the last-four stage match in the USD 50,000 hard court event.

"It was a tough day today, lost in straight sets. It was little windy, conditions were tricky. I had a couple of break chances in second set but could not break and eventually lost," Ramkumar said after his match.
