Refined soya oil prices edged up by 0.10 per cent to Rs 733 quintal in futures trade today as speculators raised bets supported by pick-up in demand at domestic spot markets against restricted arrivals from producing regions.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in August was trading higher by 75 paise, or 0.10 per cent, to Rs 733 per 10 kg with an open interest of 9,210 lots.

Analysts said widening of positions by traders after uptick in demand in the spot market against restricted supplies from producing belts, led to a rise in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
