Meanwhile, Chief Public Relation Officer (East Central Railway) Amitabh Prabhakar said agitators created disturbances at Islampur, Jehanabad, Khurupur and Biharsharif areas in Danapur division, halting trains at different points.
Similar disruptions were witnessed in Samastipur, Sonepur, Dhanbad and Mughalsarai, he said in a release.
The Delhi-Islampur Magadh Express was terminated at Patna. It would leave for the national capital from Patna instead of Islampur in Nalanda district, Prabhakar said.
Departure of Rajendranagar to Anand Vihar express was also delayed by three hours, he said.
Around one lakh trucks in the state did not run, Bihar Truck Owner's Association president Bhanu Sekhar Prasad Singh, said.
In Patna, CPI-ML General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya led a party procession to enforce the bandh.
