Rhino kills man

A man was killed by a

rhinoceros in the Kaziranga National Park, officials said.

The rhino attacked the man, Buddheswar Gowala, and fatally injured him in the chest and back near the Bebejia camp in the park's Kohora range, the park officials said.

Other people accompanying Gowala rushed him to Bokakhat's First Referral Unit where he died of his injuries.

The officials said an inquiry was being made to ascertain how the people entered the park without permission and their purpose.
