Road accidents claim three lives in Amethi

Three persons were killed in separate road mishaps in different parts of Amethi district, police said today.

Rajkumari, 35, a resident of Pulayen village, was run over by a truck on Amethi-Durgapur highway when she was on her way to the market. While riding a bicycle, Abhimanyu, 23, was hit by a vehicle on Sultanpur-Lucknow national highway.

Lallan, 26, a resident of village Trilokpur lost control of his motorcycle while trying to avoid hitting a cyclist near Munshiganj market. He later died in a hospital, police said.
