DMK president M Karunanidhi also condoled the deaths and hit out at the AIADMK regime for the 'frequent' mishaps.
PMK chief Ramadoss alleged that the mishap occurred only due to "non-prevention of violation of norms" in the construction of the "16-ft high and 250 metres length wall which had no pillars." The PMK leader expressed his condolences to the bereaved families.
The incident occurred eight days after an 11-storeyed building crashed at Porur, claiming 61 lives.
