Rs 3 lakh solatium to family of woman killed by tiger

: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today ordered payment of Rs three lakh solatium to the family of the woman killed by a leopard in a village in nearby Nilgiri District on January 4.

The woman was killed by the animal while returning home after shopping in Solada village.

Jayalalithaa also conveyed her condolences to the bereaved family members, an official release said here tonight.
