Ryan Reynolds bought himself a gin company

"Deadpool" has become the owner of the Portland-based liquor company, Aviation Gin.

The 41-year-old actor shared the news on Twitter and said that he has bought the ownership stake in the company.

"In the long and in no way disastrous marriage of showbiz and alcohol, so happy to announce I'm the proud owner of a gin company Aviation Gin, Reynolds wrote.

The company also tweeted about the news, welcoming their new owner who is an "actor, producer, (and) professional good-looking person".

In a statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, the actor said he loved the gin produced by the company and wanted to get involved in some capacity.
 

Reynolds joins the ranks of Francis Ford Coppola, Justin Timberlake, Marilyn Manson, Dave Matthews, Channing Tatum, Drake and Fergie, who own an alcohol company. George Clooney recently sold his Casamigos tequila company for USD 1 billion.

Reynolds will be next seen in "Deadpool 2" that marks the return of the foul-mouthed superhero with Josh Brolin playing the role of Cable. The superhero sequel also stars "Atlanta" breakout star Zazie Beetz as the mutant mercenary Domino.
