Saria recovers on stockists buying as constructions picks up

Supported by pickup in demand following upswing in constructions activity, saria strengthened by Rs 300 per tonne at the wholesale steel market in the national capital today.

Movements in other steels, however, remained limited on scattered support.

Traders increased offtake by stockists following pickup in constructions activity, helped saria prices to rise.

In the saria segment, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 300 each to Rs 41,600, Rs 39,400 and Rs 38,800 per tonne respectively. Saria-16-25-mm followed suit and enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 38,800 per tonne.

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 41,600, 10-mm Rs 39,400, 12-mm Rs 38,800, 16-25 mm Rs 38,800.

Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 44,500, 10-mm Rs 42,000, 12-mm, Rs 41,000, 16-25 mm Rs 41,000.

MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.

Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
