Saritha appears before court, case posted to Jan 8

Saritha Nair, an accused in the solar panel scam, today appeared before a court here in connection with the alleged cheating of a businessman here to the tune of about Rs 25 lakh.

She appeared before sixth judicial magistrate Rajavel, who posted the hearing to January eight since witnesses in the case failed to appear.

The businessman filed a case against Saritha blaming her of cheating over Rs 25 lakh after promising him to set up solar panels five years ago.
