School boy killed in accident

A school boy died when a truck hit him at Sonai in Cachar district, police said today.

Ruhel Hussain Laskar (9) was hit by the vehicle when he was standing near his house last night, killing him on the spot.

The driver, who was arrested, was under the influence of alcohol when the accident took place.
