Security tightened around 127 Eidgahs in Muzaffarnagar: DM

The security around 127 Eidgahs has been tightened in the district ahead of Eid festival.

The security arrangements of 127 'Eidgah' in the district have been tightened as a precautionary measure in view of Eid festival, District Magistrate D K Singh said today.

Thousands come out to pray at Eidgah, open-air gathering places, usually outside the city to perform the Salat al Eid (Eid prayers) for Eid ul-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
