Sharma leads Dakshin Dare after day two

Sandeep Sharma (co-driver Karan Arya) were leading after day two of Maruti Suzki Dakshin Dare rally that passed through the rocky terrains of Kapat Hill, located in Karnataka's Gadag district.

Through the winding trails, the rally proceeded towards Hubli covering a total distance of 400 km.

The chilly weather with the gravelly roads full of difficult twists and turns made it even more challenging for the drivers to manoeuvre their vehicles.

In the extreme car category, Sharma zoomed towards the lead in his Maruti Gypsy with a timing of 2:35:06.

Samrat Yadav (Gaurav) were second, covering the distance in 2:39:23. Manali man Suresh Rana along with his navigator Parminder, moved a place to third, clocking 2:42:10 in another Gypsy.
 

In the extreme bike category, Arvind K P maintained his lead with a time of 2:23:51, followed by Natraj who maintained his second position. Abdul Wahid was third.

Day 2 Results: Extreme Cars: Sandeep Sharma and Karan Arya (Team Maruti) - 2:35:06, Samrat Yadav and Gaurav - 2:39:23 Suresh Rana and Parminder - 2:42:10.

Extreme Bikes: Arvind K P - 2:23:51, Natraj - 2:31:15, Abdul Wahid - 2:37:24.
