Shillong Press Club condemns killing of scribe
The Shillong Press Club today condemned the killing of Tripura journalist Shantanu Bhowmik and said that any attack on the fourth estate should be dealt with strongly.
The culprits should be given exemplary punishment, Press Club president D O Laitphlang said.
Bhowmik, attached with a local TV channel, was killed by a mob yesterday while he was on duty.
