Shiraz Singh continued to lead at the end of the second round of the 6th Usha DGC Ladies Open Amateur Golf Championship as she ended the day with a gross aggregate of 159 at the Delhi Golf Club here today.
Shiraz, an 8-handicapper, scored 79 today to add to her first-round score of 80 to lead the field by ten strokes. The 54-hole event concludes tomorrow.
Dhanalaxmi Rice jumped to the second sport with a total of 169. Dhanalaxmi (10-handicap) carded 82 after her first round of 87.

Lalita Balasubramaniam (13-handicap) added an 84 to her first-round 88 to aggregate 172.
Aashana Singh, who was second after Day One, had a poor round of 92 and slid to the fourth spot with a total of 177, one stroke ahead of Himadri Singh.
Shiraz had a birdie on the par-3 12th. While she didn't really have any other distinctions, she played consistently to keep ahead of the lot.
A total of 73 Indian and foreign amateur golfers are in the fray for this prestigious and popular amateur tournament.
