SHO suspended for laxity in probe

A Station House Officer (SHO) has been suspended for alleged laxity in probing the murder case of a deputy jailor who was shot dead last month.

"Aniruddh Singh, SHO Cant, was suspended last night for his laxity in probing the deputy jailor murder case," Senior Superintendent of police (SSP) Rajesh D Modak said, adding that even ten days after the incident, the investigations have not reached any conclusions.

Anil Tyagi (45) was shot dead by unidentified persons on November 23 outside a gym near Mahavir temple here.
