Silver futures prices today traded 0.69 per cent higher at Rs 43,378 per kg, largely in tandem with a rising trend in precious metals in evening session in the global markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in May rose by Rs 298, or 0.69 per cent, to Rs 43,378 per kg in a business turnover of 1,361 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in July traded Rs 298, or 0.68 per cent, higher at Rs 44,140 per kg in a turnover of 51 lots.

In the international market, silver added 1.10 cents, to USD 20.09 in London.
Analysts said a firming trend in precious metals in the global market as a weaker dollar and tension between Russia and the West increased demand for a safe-haven, influenced silver prices at futures trade.
