Peaches Geldof had publicly acknowledged in the past that she had not come to terms with her mother Yates' death.
She had told Elle magazine in 2012 that she remembered the day her mother died, and it's still hard to talk about it.
Geldof said that she just blocked it out, asserting that she went to school the next day because her father's mentality was to keep calm and carry on.
She said that she didn't grieve, didn't cry at her funeral and couldn't express anything because she was just numb to it all.
Geldof said that she didn't start grieving for her mother properly until she reached 16 years of age.
Geldof was married twice, and leaves behind second husband, Tom Cohen, lead singer of the defunct London punk band S.C.U.M, and her two sons.
