At least six persons were killed and as many critically injured when an iron-laden truck overturned on a hilly road in Odisha's Kalahandi district today, a police officer said.
The mishap occured when the victims were returning to Maidanpur village in nearby Nabarangpur district in the truck after attending a weekly market at Ampani, the officer
said.

The truck, loaded with iron plates, overturned apparently after losing control while moving on Ampani Ghati, around 80 km from here.
The injured persons have been admitted to hospital at Koksara where their condition was stated to be critical, police said adding investigation was in progress.
