Skeleton recovered from pond in MP

Police yesterday recovered the skeleton, suspected to be of a youth identified as Rajendra Sahu (24), from the Ranital pond where it was allegedly dumped by his killers.

Sahu had married one Janki Daheria in April this year, reportedly against the wishes of the girl's brother Manju.

Police said Manju along with his uncle allegedly killed Rajendra about a fortnight back and dumped the body in a pond after tying it with a heavy stone.

Later, his wife had lodged a missing complaint with police.

During questioning, Manju confessed to have killed Sahu and based on the details provided by him, the body was recovered from the pond yesterday, police said.
