Small sugar rise on millers offtake

Medium sugar witnessed a mixed pattern of trading on alternate bouts of buying and selling.

Small sugar (S-30) climbed by Rs 15 per quintal to Rs 3,266/3,342 from Monday's closing level of Rs 3,266/3,327.

However, medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 3,352/3,482 per quintal.

Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,266/3,342 (Rs 3,266/3,327)

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,352/3,482 (Rs 3,346/3,491).
