The new government's priority is to ensure implementation of the Social Justice Ministry's schemes at the grass roots level, especially for people of the northeast, union minister Sudarshan Bhagat said today.
Speaking after taking over as the MoS for the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, he said any short comings in implementation of the schemes shall be attended to immediately.
Later, the minister was briefed on the key initiatives and policy frame work of the Ministry by the Secretary Social Justice & Empowerment Sudhir Bhargava and Secretary Department of Disability Stuti Kakkar and other senior officials of the Ministry.
Meanwhile, Manoj Sinha has taken over as new Minister of State for Railways.
