Software professional held for bit to outrage maid's modesty

A software professional was arrested here today for allegedly attempting to outrage the modesty of a housemaid at Dabeerpura area here, the police said.

M A Mukit allegedly tried to hold the hand of the 36- year-old woman at his residence this morning when she screamed and ran out, after which she lodged a complaint with the Dabeerpura police.

A case under Section 354 of Indian Penal Code was registered and Mukit was subsequently arrested, the police said.
