Solar water heater now required for power connection in Raj

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson said that the state government has issued directions in this regard which was aimed at saving energy and promoting solar power.

In the building for which a power connection is sought, solar power heating system will have to be installed, he said.

Such buildings would include hotels, hospitals, hostels, resorts among others, he added.
