Sonia greeted on her birthday

Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who turned 70 today, was greeted by members in the Lok Sabha cutting across party lines.
Gandhi, who was recently hospitalised and had come to the House yesterday for the first time after a long gap, attended the proceedings today.
As soon as the House was adjourned for the first time around 1110 hours following pandemonium, she was wished by some BJP MPs.
During the second adjournment of the House till noon, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar, his deputy S S Ahluwalia, Minister of State in PMO Jitendra Singh and members of the Trinamool Congress walked over to the Opposition benches and greeted her.
