Spate of hot mornings continue

The spate of hot mornings, not usual for March, continued in the national capital with the city today recording the minimum temperature at 23.3 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average.

The relative humidity was recorded at 51 per cent at 8:30 AM, the weatherman said.

Delhi had yesterday witnessed the hottest morning of the season in the past five years at 23.7 degrees Celsius.

The mercury had soared up to 38.3 degrees Celsius, six notches above the normal, making it the hottest day of March in the last seven years.

The weather office predicted partly cloudy skies for today and said the maximum temperature will settle around 38 degrees Celsius.
