Employees of Centaur Hotel in Srinagar will next week launch an agitation, including a strike and holding a protest in Delhi against top officials of the Air India subsidiary, against alleged anti-labour attitude of the management.
Among the demands raised by the Centaur Hotel Employees Union (CHEU) is the removal of Chetan Kak, Vice President (Operations), from the hotel's management whom they accuse of taking "arbitrary" action against the staffers, including suspension of them, CHEU President Javed A Pandit told PTI from Srinagar.
He said all the workers would proceed from Srinagar to Delhi soon to lodge their protest at the Civil Aviation Ministry.
