Australia-based StayWell Hospitality Group is planning to add 25 hotels in India by 2020 as part of its expansion plans for the country.
The hospitality chain has been acquired by the Tokyo- based Prince Hotels for AUD 50 million early this week.
"We plan to add 25 hotels across India by 2020 as part of our growth plans in the country," StayWell Hospitality Group Managing Director - India Rohit Vig told PTI.

The hotels will be a mix of the company's upscale brand Park Regis and midscale brand Leisure Inn, he added.
"The hotels will be in locations such as Mumbai, Delhi, Raipur, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Vizag and Goa among others," Vig said.
When asked about the future plans post acquisition, Vig said: "The management team of StayWell and its brands will all remain intact and both groups will jointly grow brands of StayWell Group and brands of Prince Hotels".
StayWell Group will now also look at acquisitions of large assets across the world, he added.
On being asked the about the future business model of the company, Vig said: "We will look at acquisitions, management contract, lease and franchise going forward".
StayWell Hospitality Group has 30 hotels spread across Australia, India, China, West Asia, Indonesia, Singapore and the UK.
