Student electrocuted in Mathura

An college student was electrocuted while fixing a wire at his hostel here, police said today.

Adhini Farah, a final year student at an engineering college here, was fixing a wire at his hostel with wet hands when he recieved an electric shock yesterday, they said.

The electricity supply was immediately cut off, but the student died before he could be taken to hospital, police said.

The victim's body was handed over to police after post-mortem, they added.
