Sub-Inspector shot at in UP

A Sub-Inspector was today shot at and seriously injured by three assailants in Narkhi area here, police said.

Rajveer Singh was shot at by the bike-borne assailants when he attempted to intercept their vehicle at Rijawali crossing during checking, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) SK Bajpai said.

Singh has been referred to a hospital in Agra, he said.

Prima facie it appears to be case of personal rivalry, Bajpai said.
