Sudhir Bhargava to hold charge of dept of empowerment of PwD

Senior IAS officer Sudhir Bharagava will hold the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for one month from tomorrow.

Bhargava, a 1979 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, is presently Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.

The Department of Disability Affairs under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has been recently renamed as Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

Shailesh Nayak has been given additional charge of Secretary, Department of Space for a period of one month beginning tomorrow, an official release issued today said.

Nayak is presently Secretary in Ministry of Earth Sciences.
