Rajasthan govt. Gifts Rs 15 lakh to CWG gold winner Chandela
Rajasthan government has announced a cash award of Rs 15 lakh to shooter Apurvi Chandela for winning a gold medal in the 20th Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The Indian shooter bagged the top prize in women's 10 metre air rifle competiton.
Quoting Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, an official spokesman said the gift money was sanctioned by the state government.
