A suspected NDFB militant was apprehended in a joint operation by Assam police and Army today.
The suspected terrorist, identified as Prabin Boro, was nabbed from Baksa district this evening, army sources said.
"The militant was apprehended in a joint operation by Assam Police and the 9 Punjab Regiment of the Army from Bihapara village," the source said.
Two grenades, one pistol, one loaded magazine, two rounds of live cartridge and one motorcycle were recovered from his possession.
The source said that he is being interrogated at an Army camp.
Altogether three suspected NDFB militants have been arrested so far in this week from the area.
