Suspected spy arrested in Jaislamer

A man, alleged to be an spy, was today detained by intelligence agencies in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district for questioning, a senior official said.

Bariyam Khan was detained by the sleuths of intelligence department with the help of local police from Ramgarh area, ADG Intelligence U R Sahoo said.

"His name had cropped up during the interrogation of suspected Pakistani spy Sadiq Khan who was placed under arrest yesterday after joint interrogation by intelligence agencies," said Sahoo, adding Bariyam was picked up today for questioning.

He is being brought to Jaipur for joint interrogation, he said.
