T Yoganand new police commissioner of Visakhapatnam

Andhra Pradesh Government today promoted T Yoganand to the rank of inspector general of police and appointed him as the new commissioner of police at Visakhapatnam.

He will be replacing Amit Garg.

Garg, a 1993-batch IPS officer, will be now IGP (Provisioning and Logistics). He served here for 15 months.

Superintendent of Police, Srikakulam, A S Khan has been promoted and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam.

DCP (L&O, Zone-I, Vizag) Dr CM Thrivikrama Varma has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Prakasam, while DIG (Visakha Range) A Ravichandra has been promoted and posted as IGP Training-2.

Superintendents of police Dr Koya Praveen of Vizag and Grewal Navdeep Singh of Vizianagaram too have been transferred.
