Tech gives immense power for accessing knowledge: Muhammad

Highlighting the importance of technology, Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus said it gives immense power to the people to learn from each other and access knowledge.

Addressing the youth at the 4th edition of 'Samvaad -The tribal conclave' yesterday, the Bangladesh-based champion of microfinance said, "Your generation is completely different from the ones this planet has witnessed. You are different because of the enormous technology in your hand."

"Technology gives you immense power to learn from each other and access knowledge. You are the most powerful generation in human history," he said.

The five-day-long event, organised by Tata Steel, concluded yesterday. A book titled "Policies and Practices
 

Assessing Indian Tribal Health Systems" was released on the concluding day.
