A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Jammu district, police said today.
The victim's father complained that his daughter had yesterday gone to nearby fields for grazing cattle in Parade Gharota belt here and did not return back, a police officer said.
She today returned home and alleged that she was raped by Sat Pal, the officer said.
On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered tonight and an investigation is underway, the officer added.
