Teenager drowns in stream in J&K

A 15-year-old boy died after he fell into a stream in central Kashmir Budgam district while tending to his herd, police said today.

Mukhtar Ahmad Gorsi slipped in the stream and drowned as he was trying to pull out some cattle from the stream in Nagabal area of Chrar-e-Sharief last evening, a police official said.

He said Gorsi's body was fished out and handed to his relatives for last rites.
