A 17-year-old girl was abducted and gang raped today by two youths at a village near here under Shikheda police station of the district.
Shikheda police station in-charge Vikram Singh said the police have registered a case against the two accused Nauman and Anees Ahmad, who are absconding.
The victim has been sent for medical examination, he said.
Quoting from the complaint lodged by the girl's father, the station house officer said the girl was abducted by the duo when she had gone out of the house to dump cow dung in a nearby field.
The duo allegedly took her to a desolate field where they raped her and decamped after threatening her with dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anybody.
