Ten persons detained for creating ruckus near counting centre

Ten persons were detained for allegedly creating ruckus near a counting centre for civic polls in suburban Chembur area today.

They were from different political parties, a senior police official said.

They wanted the counting of votes to be stopped and re-polling be ordered in the area, he said. They were detained and later released, the official added.
