Integrated textile parks, diversification to new markets and technology upgradation are likely to be the thrust areas for the Textiles Ministry while setting its 100-day agenda.
The Ministry is expected to convene a meeting tomorrow to firm up the blueprint to boost the sector.
Asked about the Textile Ministry's 100-day agenda, Textiles Secretary Zohra Chatterjee said: "Infrastructure, raw materials, markets (diversification) and technology will be the thrust areas".

"We are working it out. We are taking a meeting tomorrow," she said on the sidelines of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) convocation ceremony here. Textiles Minister Santosh Gangwar was also present on the occasion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently asked his Cabinet colleagues to set a 100-day agenda with focus on efficient governance, delivery and implementation of programmes.
