Three arrested in Kolkata for trafficking girls

West Bengal CID has arrested three persons for allegedly trafficking three minor girls during a raid at Thakurpukur area here.

The girls were rescued last night by the state CID Anti Human Trafficking Unit during a raid at a house in Thakurpukur area of the city, a senior CID officer said.

The accused, Rintu Mandal alias Joy, Srabani Mandal and Jaya Majhi have been arrested under various sections of the IPC, the officer said.
