According to police, the victims, including a lineman of the electricity department had entered the well to repair a faulty waterpump.
The deceased were identified as Kishore Mandri (40), Ramesh Verma (50) (lineman) and Devi Singh (50), police said.
Verma's relative Rajesh suffered severe burn injuries as he, too, came in contact with the current while trying to save them.
