Three killed, 11 injured in road accident in Samba

Three persons were today killed and eleven injured when a bus in which they were travelling collided with a pillar of a railway over-bridge in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The bus was on its way to Samba from Jammu when it met with the accident in Sapowal area, a senior police officer said.

He said that three persons died on the spot while 11 others received injuries in the accident.

Police launched a rescue operation and shifted the injured to the hospital, he said.

A case has been registered and investigation is on, he added.
