Three killed as car rams into motorcycle

Three members of a family were killed as a car hit their motorcycle near Chhapra village, about 40 km from here, Thursday evening, police said.

Five others were injured, said Chargavan police station in-charge Nitin Kamal.

Virendra Chandhar (30), his sister Sapna (35) and her daughter Simran (8) who were on motorcycle died on the spot as a speeding car hit them, he said.

Another child riding on the motorcycle and four passengers of the car were injured and admitted to Jabalpur District Hospital, Kamal added.
