Thunderstorm tonight lashed Tirumala near here, where the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara is located, and other areas including Seshachalam hill range forests where a wildfire raged recently.
Temple sources told PTI that the thunderstorm which lashed Tirupati and other areas brought the temperature down considerably and came as a relief for visiting pilgrims and the burnt forest areas on the hills.
