Tight movements in steel prices in thin trading

There was not much activity at the steel market in the national capital today as prices continued to trade in a narrow range on lack of worthwhile activity, settling around previous levels.

Traders said absence of worthwhile activity from construction units mainly kept prices at last levels.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 44,100, 10-mm Rs 43,600, 12-mm Rs 41,200, 16-25 mm Rs 42,000.

Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,200, 10-mm Rs 42,900, 12-mm, Rs 41,900, 16-25 mm Rs 42,000.

MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.
