Air India today witnessed top level appointments with a senior airline official Pankaj Srivastava taking over as Commercial Director and Anil Mehta as Executive Director (Corporate Affairs).
Srivastava took charge of the new assignment following the superannuation of G D Brara, who had earlier served the airline in several key positions.
Mehta, who served as General Manager (Sales and Marketing) and was the Executive Assistant to Air India's Chairman and Managing Director, assumed charge as ED (Corporate Affairs), an airline spokesperson said.

Shyam Sunder, General Manager (Revenue Management), would coordinate the functions of Executive Director (Commercial), as per airline orders.
Srivastava, who joined the airline in 1983, was responsible for sales and marketing as a General Manager. He also managed its Gulf operations for a few years.
Brara, who retired yesterday as the Director (Commercial) and a member of Air India's Board, had held several major positions, including CEO of Air India Air Transport Services Limited, Executive Director (Commercial) and Managing Director of Alliance Air.
He was posted in New York as Executive Director for the Americas with overall responsibility for the airline's operations in the US and Canada.
